Congratulations to all the players and coaches for clinching the Championship Series!! We came from behind in both games!! Also a huge thank you to all our volunteers who work so hard in the concession stand and grill, especially Wende, Shannon, Robyn, Karla, Mark Ventry, Greg Sanders, Chris Budd, Jeff Grinstead, Tony Parker who worked well beyond their required shifts and did it for the good of the program. Four playoff double headers raised a considerable amount of income!!

Now for next week’s Championship series. Please be patient for information about tickets and logistics. Lassiter made the championship in 6A and is scheduled to play a double header Monday and an IF game on Tuesday. However, their graduation is Tuesday so the schedule is going to change and will probably affect the 7A series as well. We are also planning a rally at North when the team climbs on to a luxury bus to head to Truist Park. So, lots of decisions to be made as soon as we can.

Lastly, Shannon is working on rescheduling our End of the Year Banquet, which was originally planned for Wednesday night.
